ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

2.30.010 Department created.

There is hereby created the administration department. [Code 2000 § 4-1-1].

2.30.020 Director of finance.

There is hereby created the position of director of finance who shall be the city recorder unless otherwise directed by the mayor and city council. The director of finance/city recorder shall be the administration department supervisor and perform the financial duties and responsibilities of the city recorder as established by Title 10, Chapter 6, Utah Code Annotated 1953, and the financial administrative duties of the director of finance prescribed in the Uniform Accounting Manual for Utah Cities. 2.30.030 City recorder.

The city recorder shall perform the duties prescribed by law including the financial duties which shall be performed by the director of finance. (Sections 10-6-137 and 10-6-138, Utah Code Annotated 1953.) [Code 2000 § 4-1-3].

2.30.040 City treasurer.

The city treasurer shall perform the duties prescribed by law. (Sections 10-6-141 through 10-6-146, Utah Code Annotated 1953.) [Code 2000 § 4-1-4].
