CAMPAIGN FINANCE DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS

2.70.010 Campaign finance disclosure requirements.
Every candidate for public office in West Point City who receives more than $50.00 in campaign contributions and/or spends more than $50.00 on their respective campaigns for city office shall report and itemize total campaign contributions and expenditures at least once seven days before the municipal general election and at least once 30 days after the municipal general election. Such disclosures shall include contributions of more than $50.00, the name of the contribution donor and the contribution amount; and for expenditures, the name of the recipients and the amount of the expenditures. Nonmonetary contributions shall be reported in like manner. Disclosure shall be filed with the city recorder of West Point City in accordance with deadlines set forth above. [Code 2000 § 2-7-1].
2.70.020 Compliance with state law.
Campaign finance disclosure requirements and procedures shall conform with the provisions of Section 10-3-208, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, governing campaign finance statements in municipal elections. [Code 2000 § 2-7-2].
