NAMING OF PARKS AND RECREATION AREAS

12.12.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to establish a procedure to designate names of parks and recreation areas within the city. (Ord. 99-09 § 1 (part))
12.12.020 Procedure.
The parks and recreation commission shall establish and follow policies and procedures in selecting names to be submitted to the city council. Upon recommendation of the parks and recreation commission, the city council shall confirm the name of the park or recreation area by resolution. Upon approval by the city council, the name shall thereupon become officially adopted. (Ord. 99-09 § 1 (part))
