10.08.010 Pine Grove-Tabeau Road.

A.    Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 22358, the following portion of county road (Pine Grove-Tabeau), is determined, on the basis of engineering and traffic survey, to have prima facie speed limits of twenty-five and forty miles per hour, respectively, said prima facie speed limits having been found to be the most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and to be reasonable and safe:

1.    Forty miles per hour from State Highway No. 88 to the north boundary of the Pine Acres Community Service District, a distance of 0.45 miles;

2.    Thence twenty-five miles per hour from the north boundary of said Pine Acres Community Service District to the east boundary of Pine Acres Unit No. 7 Subdivision, a distance of 0.5 miles;

3.    Thence forty miles per hour from the east boundary of said Pine Acres Unit No. 7 Subdivision to the most westerly point of Pine Acres Unit No. 5 Subdivision, said point being where the Pine Grove-Tabeau County Road leaves the Pine Acres Community Service District boundary, a distance of 1.45 miles.

B.    Appropriate signs giving notice of said prima facie speed limits shall be erected upon the said county road.  (Ord. 401 §§1, 2, 1968).

10.08.020 Buckhorn Ridge Road No. 236.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour from the intersection of Pioneer Creek Road easterly to the intersection of State Highway 88.  (Ord. 1306 §2, 1992).

10.08.040 Climax Road, County Road No. 2.

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed limit of thirty miles per hour on Climax Road from Post Mile 0.00 to Post Mile 3.02.  (Ord. 1776 §2(part), 2018:  Ord. 480 §2, 1972).

10.08.050 Ridge Road, County Road No. 22.

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed limit of:

A.    Forty-five miles per hour on Ridge Road from one-half mile west of the New York Ranch Road intersection to one-half mile east of such intersection, for a total of one and eight-tenths miles in length (PM 3.0 to PM 4.85); and

B.    Thirty-five miles per hour on Ridge Road from Post Mile 7.73 to Post Mile 8.33.  (Ord. 1776 §2(part), 2018:  Ord. 1671 §3, 2008).

10.08.060 Williams Road and Bobbie Lane in River View Tract.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty five miles per hour on williams Road and Bobbie Lane in River View Tract.  (Ord. 636 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.070 Old Sacramento Road.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty-five miles per hour from Post Mile 4.0 to Post Mile 5.2 and thirty-five miles per hour from Post Mile 5.2 to city limit of Plymouth.  (Ord. 1162 §2, 1988).

10.08.080 Lower Plasse Road.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of fifteen miles per hour on Lower Plasse Road.  (Ord. 636 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.090 Kit Carson Road.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of fifteen miles per hour on Kit Carson Road.  (Ord. 636 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.100 West Clinton Road.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on West Clinton Road from its junction with Highway 88 to Clinton Townsite.  (Ord. 636 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.110 Running Gold Ranch Road and Colt Drive.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Running Gold Ranch Road and Colt Drive.  (Ord. 636 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.120 Pine Grove-Volcano County Road No. 5.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty miles per hour on Pine Grove-Volcano County Road No. 5 from its intersection with Pioneer-Volcano County Road No. 6 to the town of Volcano.  (Ord. 638 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.130 All roads in Mace Meadows Units One through Nine.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on all roads in Mace Meadows units One through Nine as follows:  Mace Drive, County Road No. 261; North Mace Drive, County Road No. 262B; South Mace Drive, County Road No. 262A; Timber Court, County Road No. 263; Mt.  Crossman Court, County Road No. 264; Stella Court, County Road No. 265; Canyon View Court, County Road No. 267; Winton Lane, County Road No. 266; Meadow Drive, County Road No. 299; Fairway Drive, County Road No. 329; Parkwood Drive, County Road No. 330; Parkwood Drive East, County Road No. 328; Ruggles Court, County Road No. 300; King Court, County Road No. 301; View Court, County Road No. 303; Antelope Court, County Road No. 304; Ridge Drive, County Road No. 302, Creekside Drive, County Road No. 318; Alta Vista Court, County Road No. 319; Mira Vista Court, County Road No. 320; Sugar Pine Drive, County Road No. 289; Acorn Court, County Road No. 327; North Meadow Drive, County Road No. 310; Woodcrest Drive, County Road No. 326.  (Ord. 638 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.140 Ranch Drive, Meadowbrook Drive, and Rolling Hills Court in Ranch House Estates.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Ranch Drive from Highway 88 to Meadowbrook Drive, Meadowbrook Drive from end to end, and Rolling Hills Court from Meadowbrook Drive to end.  (Ord. 633 §1, 1978).

10.08.150 Sutter Creek-Volcano County Road No. 12.

On the basis of an engineering and -traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour on that portion of Sutter Creek-Volcano County Road No. 12 from that road’s intersection with the city limits of the city of Sutter Creek to that road’s intersection with Pine Gulch Road, and forty-five miles per hour on said Sutter Creek-Volcano County Road No. 12 from said intersection with Pine Gulch Road to the town of Volcano.  (Ord. 655 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.160 Pine Grove-Tabeau County Road No. 16.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares the following prima facie speed limits on Tabeau County Road No. 16:

A.    Forty miles per hour from State Highway 88 to two thousand two hundred feet south of State Highway 88.

B.    Twenty-five miles per hour from two thousand two hundred feet south of State Highway 88 to eight hundred feet south of Arrowhead Road No. 8077.

C.    Thirty-five miles per hour from eight hundred feet south of Arrowhead Road No. 8077 to one thousand three hundred feet south of Clinton Bar Road No. 8079.  (Ord. 655 §1(part), 1978).

10.08.170 Ione-Martell County Road No. 28.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Ione-Martell County Road No. 28.  (Ord. 657 §1, 1978).

10.08.180 Irishtown-Weiland Mine Road No. 106.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour from Highway 88 South .6 mile (.15 mile south of the Spagnoli Mine Road intersection).  (Ord. 663 §1, 1978).

10.08.190 Ione-Martell Cutoff-County Road No. 28.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Ione-Martell Cutoff between State Highway 88 and State Highway 49, County Road No. 28.  (Ord. 685 §1, 1979).

10.08.200 All roads within the boundaries of Mace Meadows Unit No. 2.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Meadow Vista Drive from Highway 88 back to Highway 88; Lutrell Road from Meadow Vista Drive to the end; Butterfield Court from Meadow Vista Drive to the end; and Madrone Court from Meadow Vista Drive to the end.  (Ord. 684 §1, 1979).

10.08.210 Roads within Sierra Highlands.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on McKenzie Drive, County Road No. 288; Cedar Heights Drive, County Road No. 268A; Madrone Lane, County Road No. 269B; and Ridge Road, County Road No. 270A.  (Ord. 687 §1, 1979).

10.08.220 Spagnoli Mine Road, County Road No. 172.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Spagnoli Mine Road, County Road No. 172, from the west end of Weiland Road to Bonnefoy Road.  (Ord. 691 §1, 1979).

10.08.225 Mt. Zion County Road No. 406.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Mt.  Zion County Road No. 406.  (Ord. 694 §1, 1979).

10.08.240 Carson Drive County Road No. 317.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour between State Highway 88 and Woodfern Drive and twenty-five miles per hour between Woodfern Drive and said road’s end.  (Ord. 1157 §2, 1988).

10.08.250 Pine Grove-Volcano County Road No. 5.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty miles per hour on Pine Grove-Volcano County Road No. 5 from its intersection with State Highway 88 to Pioneer-Volcano Road.  (Ord. 891 §2, 1982).

10.08.260 Speed limit on Jackson Gate Road.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty miles per hour on Jackson Gate Road (County Road No. 20) from State Highway 49 to the city limits of the city of Jackson.  (Ord. 931 §1, 1983).

10.08.270 Camanche Parkway North.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty miles per hour from Post Mile 2.8 to Post Mile 4.6 on Camanche Parkway North.  (Ord. 1169 §1, 1988).

10.08.280 Kennedy Flat Road No. 32.

On the basis of updated speed surveys dated April 3, 2001 and April 5, 2001, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour on Kennedy Flat Road.  (Ord. 1534 §1, 2001:  Ord. 1380 §1, 1995).

10.08.290 New York Ranch Road No. 1.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour on New York Ranch Road from the Jackson city limits to the intersection of Ridge Road.  (Ord. 1400 §1, 1996).

10.08.300 All roads within the boundaries of Fairway Pines Unit II-A.

On the basis that the roads in said subdivision are a residence district the board determines and declares a prima facie of twenty-five miles per hour as most appropriate to facilitate the movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner on all roads in Fairway Pines Unit II-A subdivision as follows:  Glenmoor Drive - Road No. 149, Golf Links Drive - Road No. 150, St. Andrews Court - Road No. 151, and Deer Trail - Road No. 152.  (Ord. 1428 §1, 1997).

10.08.310 Shake Ridge Road, County Road No. 9.

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty miles per hour from Ram’s Horn Grade to Wandering Hills Drive and thirty miles per hour from Wandering Hills Drive to Highway 88.  (Ord. 1475 §1, 1999).

10.08.320 Willow Creek Road No. 287.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty five miles per hour on Willow Creek Road from the intersection of State Highway 124 easterly to the intersection of State Highway 16.  (Ord. 1519, §1, 2001).

10.08.330 Fiddletown Road No. 52.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey dated March 2001, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of twenty-five miles per hour on Fiddletown Road from PM 4.80 to 5.90 within the community of Fiddletown.  (Ord. 1526 §1, 2001).

10.08.350 Village Drive No. 331.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of forty-five miles per hour on Village Drive from PM 0.00 (Curran Road) to PM 2.84 (Goose Creek Road).  (Ord. 1542 §1, 2001).

10.08.360 Sutter Creek Road No. 12.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey the board determines and declares a prima facie speed of thirty-five miles per hour on Sutter Creek Road from PM 2.18 (Pine Gulch Road) to PM 11.75 (Pine Grove-Volcano Road).  (Ord. 1547 §1, 2002).

10.08.370 Camanche Road, County Road No. 90.

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed limit of:

A.    Thirty-five miles per hour on Camanche Road from Post Mile 0.00 to Post Mile 0.80; and

B.    Forty-five miles per hour on Camanche Road from Post Mile 0.80 to Post Mile 2.18.  (Ord. 1776 §2(part), 2018:  Ord. 1562 §1, 2003).

10.08.380 Clinton Road, County Road No. 13.

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed limit of fifty miles per hour on Clinton Road from Post Mile 0.53 to Post Mile 8.85.  (Ord. 1776 §2(part), 2018).

10.08.390 Curran Road, County Road No. 88.

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed limit of forty-five miles per hour on Curran Road from Post Mile 0.00 to Post Mile 4.10.  (Ord. 1776 §2(part), 2018).

10.08.400 Shenandoah Road, County Road No. 55.2

The board determines and declares a prima facie speed limit of fifty miles per hour on Shenandoah Road from Post Mile 0.29 to Post Mile 6.59.  (Ord. 1776 §2(part), 2018).
