ENFORCEMENT OF TITLE 15 PROVISIONS

15.20.010 Authorized persons--Arrests without warrant.
It shall be the duty of the sheriff of the county, all officers and employees of the building department, and all other officers and employees of the county herein otherwise charged by law with the enforcement of this Title 15, to enforce this title and all the provisions of the same. The aforesaid officers and employees are hereby authorized, in enforcing the provisions of this title, to arrest any person, for any violation of this title, without a warrant whenever they have reasonable cause to believe that the person to be arrested has committed a violation of this title in his presence. 15.20.020 Violation--Infractions--Misdemeanors.
The first three violations of any single provision of this title within one year shall constitute infractions. Each additional violation of the same provision within one year shall constitute a misdemeanor. (Ord. 885 §5, 1982).
15.20.030 Violation--Penalty--Successive violations.
A. Any person, firm or corporation, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating or causing or permitting the violation of any of the provisions of this title shall be punished as follows:
1. By a fine not exceeding fifty dollars for a first violation;
2. By a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for a second violation of the same prohibition within one year;
3. By a fine not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars for a third violation of the same prohibition within one year; and
4. As a misdemeanor, for each additional violation of the same prohibition within one year, punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding six months, or by both fine and imprisonment.
B. Such person, firm or corporation shall be deemed to be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of this title is committed, continued or permitted by such person, firm or corporation, and is punishable as herein provided. (Ord. 885 §6, 1982).
