ARTICLE 1—LEAF BLOWERS

Sec. 4400 Leaf Blower Use Restricted.

A.    The use of leaf blowers shall be prohibited around City Hall, around the Arcata branch of the Humboldt County Library, on the Plaza, and along all businesses facing the Plaza.

1.    Plaza Defined.

As used in this section, the Plaza is defined as that area located in Arcata and bordered by 8th Street to the south, 9th Street to the north, H Street to the west, and G Street to the east. The Plaza extends through and includes all sidewalks adjacent to the Plaza lawn areas up to the curb of the streets specified herein.
