Any person entering or occupying real property or the structures thereon without the consent of the owner, his agent, or the person in lawful possession thereof, or who enters such real property or structures with the consent of the owner, agent, or person in lawful possession thereof but refuses to leave the premises after such permission to enter and remain thereon has been withdrawn by any of such persons, or who enters and remains on any real property or in any structure thereon for a period of time in excess of that stated in any notice posted on such property or structure limiting the time any patron, customer, or invitee of the premises may remain on the premises or in such structure, shall be guilty of trespassing. 17.38.020 Sign specifications.
Any sign placed upon any real property or building limiting the time during which customers or patrons of any business on such premises or in such building may remain after their initial entry shall be conspicuously placed on the premises or building in such manner as to give notice of such limitations to persons entering the premises or buildings thereon, and shall be printed in legible letters at least two inches in height. 17.38.030 Applicability of provisions.
This section shall have no application to any properties now or hereafter described in Section 554 of the Penal Code. (Ord. 325 § 5, 1974; prior code § 4238).
