LAW ENFORCEMENT MUTUAL AID PLAN

2.48.010 Adoption.

The certain plan designated “State of California Law Enforcement Mutual Aid Plan” on file at the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter in the office of the City Clerk is adopted and approved. (Ord. 48 N.S. § 1, 1945; Code 1975 § 644).

2.48.020 Power of Police Chief.

The Chief of the Police Department is authorized and empowered to order the performance of such law enforcement mutual aid services, including the use of personnel and facilities, as may be requested and s/he may deem available without unnecessarily depleting the City’s agencies, outside the territorial limits of this jurisdiction in accordance with and pursuant to the law enforcement mutual aid plan, and subject to all provisions of law governing such extraterritorial service.
