9.60.010 Discharge of Firearms.

It is unlawful for any person to discharge or permit to be discharged any firearm within the City except in an indoor range approved for the type of firearm and ammunition to be so discharged. (Ord. 182 C.S. § 1, 1968; Code 1975 § 659).

9.60.020 Discharge of Other Weapons.

It is unlawful for any person to discharge or permit to be discharged any weapon, other than firearms, including but not limited to bows, crossbows, spring guns, air guns, carbon dioxide guns, and slingshots, out of doors, or for a projectile from such a weapon to be projected out of doors within the City, except in an outdoor range approved by the Chief of Police for the type of weapon and projectile to be so discharged. 9.60.030 Exceptions.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit permitted uses of blank cartridges. (Ord. 182 C.S. § 1, 1968; Code 1975 § 659.2).
