10.20.010 Turning Signs.
A. The City Council may place markers, buttons or signs within or adjacent to intersections, indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections.
B. When authorized markers, buttons or other indications are placed within an intersection indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles at the intersection, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of such indications. (Ord. 196 § 27, 1938; Code 1975 § 526).
10.20.020 U-Turns – Certain Intersections.
Such intersections as are designated by the City Council by resolution or ordinance are intersections where no vehicle shall be turned at any time in a complete circle or in such manner as to proceed in the opposite direction upon which the vehicle is traveling at the time of entering the intersection. The Director of Public Works must place and maintain signs giving notice thereof at all intersections so designated and no such regulations shall be effective unless such signs are in place. (Ord. 196 § 28, 1938; Code 1975 § 527).
10.20.030 U-Turns – Certain Districts.
When signs are erected at such an intersection giving notice thereof, no vehicle shall be turned at any time in a complete circle or in such a manner as to proceed in the opposite direction upon the street upon which the vehicle is traveling at the time of entering the intersection.
