SKATE PARKS

9.51.020 Protective gear at the skate park.
9.51.010 Skate park defined.
As used in this chapter, the term “skate park” means the skate facility owned and operated by the city of Cerritos in Cerritos Regional Park that is identified by sign as the “Cerritos Skate Park.” (Ord. 808 § 1 (part), 1999)
9.51.020 Protective gear at the skate park.
Any person riding, skating, propelling or using a skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates or similar device at the skate park shall wear a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads at all times. (Ord. 808 § 1 (part), 1999)
9.51.025 Prohibited uses.
Riding or using a bicycle or scooter or similar device is prohibited at the skate park. (Ord. 828 § 1, 2001)
9.51.030 Infraction—Declared.
Any person who rides, skates, propels or uses a skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates or similar device at the skate park without the required protective gear is guilty of an infraction.
Any person who rides or uses a bicycle or scooter or similar device at the skate park is guilty of an infraction. (Ord. 828 § 2, 2001: Ord. 808 § 1 (part), 1999)
9.51.040 Penalty provision.
A violation of this chapter or of any provisions thereof is punishable as provided in Section 1.08.020 of this code. (Ord. 808 § 1 (part), 1999)
