1.10.010 Election consolidation.
The general municipal election of the city shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each even numbered year. (Ord. 583 § 1, 1993).
1.10.020 Term continuance.
As provided in Government Code Sections 36503.5(a) and 36503.5(d), those elected city officials whose four-year terms of office would have, prior to the adoption of this chapter, expired on the same day of the statewide primary election, shall instead continue in their offices until no later than the fourth Tuesday after the day of the general municipal election and until their successors are elected and qualified.
