14.11.010 Penalties for violations.

A. Any person violating any provision or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of Title 14 of the Cotati Municipal Code is guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person convicted of a misdemeanor under said title shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

B. Each such person is guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of Title 14 is committed, continued or permitted by any such person, and s/he shall be punished accordingly.

C. The penalties provided herein are not exclusive and are in addition to whatever legal remedies the city is entitled to invoke to remedy, prevent or punish violations of this Title 14. (Ord. 455 § 1(part), 1987).
