12.20.010 Closing hours.
All city parks shall be closed to the public during the hours of 11:00 p.m. or one-half hour after a scheduled event of one day and 6:00 a.m. of the following day. Each park shall have the closing hours posted at the entrance or some other prominent place in the park. (Ord. 354 § 1, 1991)
12.20.020 Prohibiting glass containers.
The use or possession of any glass bottle or container which was originally designed for use as a beverage container by any person, association, society or company on the premises of any city park is unlawful. (Ord. 354 § 1, 1991)
12.20.030 Rules and regulations.
In order to promote the safety, comfort and convenience of persons using any park or recreation area, the city council may, by resolution, adopt rules and regulations relevant to speed of vehicles, establishing parking areas or areas where parking or driving of vehicles is prohibited, areas where certain games or activities are prohibited, and other rules and regulations which in the opinion of the city council are necessary for the safety, comfort or convenience of the public. When such rules and regulations have been adopted and signs erected within the park or area affected thereby informing the public of the substance of such rules and regulations, it shall be unlawful for any person to fail to comply therewith. 12.20.040 Violation – Penalty.
It is unlawful and constitutes an infraction for any person to violate or fail to comply with any provision of this chapter. (Ord. 470, 2003)
