15.44.010 License required – Location restrictions.
It is unlawful for any person or persons to use a house trailer for living quarters within the city, unless such trailer is parked in an auto and trailer park duly approved and licensed by the Department of Housing and Community Development of the state, under the provisions of the State Housing Law. 15.44.020 Property owner – Location restrictions.
It is unlawful for any property owner to permit any person to park a house trailer on his property for the purpose of using the house trailer as living quarters within the city, unless such house trailer is parked in an auto and trailer park duly approved and licensed by the Department of Housing and Community Development of the state under the provisions of the State Housing Law. (Ord. 308 § 1, 1988; Ord. 57 § 2, 1961)
15.44.030 Property owner – Live in house trailer upon property when.
The provisions of this section notwithstanding, the owner of real property shall have the right to live in a house trailer on such real property for a period of 90 days while constructing or remodeling a dwelling thereon; provided, proper sanitary sewer, water, electricity and garbage services are secured and fire and sanitary codes are complied with. The owner shall not commence living in the house trailer until the building inspector has inspected the house trailer and approved the sanitary sewer, water and electricity hookups. The 90-day period shall begin when the permit to construct or remodel has been issued and occupancy of the house trailer shall cease upon the expiration of the 90-day period. (Ord. 57 § 3, 1961)
15.44.040 Violation – Penalty.
It is unlawful and constitutes an infraction for any person to violate or fail to comply with any provision of this chapter. (Ord. 470, 2003; Ord. 206 § 1, 1981; Ord. 57 § 4, 1961)
