WATER SERVICE RATES AND CHARGES

8.48.010 General metered service rates and charges within district.

Water service quantity rates and availability charges applicable to all metered water service, temporary and permanent, shall be as established by resolution of the board of directors. (Ord. 126 § 1 (part), 2009)

8.48.020 Private fire protection service rates within district.

Rates and charges applicable to all private fire protection services within the district shall be as established by resolution of the board of directors. (Ord. 126 § 1 (part), 2009)

8.48.030 Temporary metered service within district.

Rates and charges for temporary metered service shall be as established by resolution of the board of directors. (Ord. 126 § 1 (part), 2009)

8.48.060 Service outside the district.

All rules and regulations for water service within the district shall apply to water service provided outside the district. All costs of connections to district mains, including necessary appurtenances, service lines or main extensions, shall be at the expense of the owner. Such services, main extensions and appurtenances shall be approved as to design and construction by the district engineer. All fees, rates and charges outside the district, but within the area designed as Mariner’s Island within the city of San Mateo, shall be the same as those charged inside the district. For all other areas outside the district, there shall be a twenty-five percent surcharge on all fees, rates and charges as established for service within the district. (Ord. 126 § 1 (part), 2009)
