SEWER SERVICE RATES AND CHARGES

8.56.010 Charges within district.

Sewer service charges shall commence on the date the water meter is installed and shall be as established by resolution of the board of directors of the district. (Ord. 126 § 1 (part), 2009)

8.56.020 Charges outside district.

Where sewer services are made available beyond the district boundaries, all costs of connections to existing district facilities shall be borne by the applicant desiring service. Maintenance of the outside facilities shall be the responsibility of the users. All district rules and regulations shall apply and rates shall be the rates charged for service within the district, plus a surcharge of twenty-five percent. (Ord. 126 § 1 (part), 2009)

8.56.030 Sewer availability charge.

An annual nonrefundable availability charge shall be levied against all parcels of land within the district, whether subdivided or not, where no water meter has been installed. The availability charge shall be as established by resolution of the board of directors of the district. An annual billing shall be rendered to owners of record as of August 1st of each year.
