ARTICLE XVI. HC HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
30.16.10 Statement of intent.
The intent of the HC highway commercial district is to provide areas in the city suitable for commercial uses that cater primarily to visitors. The uses in this district are intended to have immediate access from major freeways. Ample parking, landscaping, and creative design are encouraged in the HC highway commercial district. The following regulations, except to the extent that they may be modified by a combining district, shall apply to every lot and building in a HC highway commercial district. (Ord. 30.16.20 Permitted uses and conditional uses.
Land in the HC highway commercial district may be used as provided in the commercial use table, section 30.19.10. Conditional uses may be permitted with a conditional use permit, which may be issued by the planning commission in accordance with the regulations in section 30.50.30. (Ord. No. 2013-08, § 2 (Exh. 30.16.30 Site and building requirements.
The lot, yard, height and additional requirements in the HC highway center commercial district shall be as established in the commercial site and building requirement table, section 30.19.20. (Ord. No. 2013-08, § 2 (Exh. A), 8-5-13)
