2.04.010 BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS ENUMERATED:

Boards and commissions of the city shall be as follows:

A.    The planning commission as established by section 12.04.130 of this code;

B.    The recreation commission as established by section 2.20.030 of this title;

C.    The historic preservation commission as established by chapter 2.16 of this title. (Ord. 2003-18, 3-3-2003)

2.04.020 RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT:

All members of all commissions established to serve the city shall be residents of the city. (Ord. 2010-61, 2-16-2010)

2.04.030 ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS:

A.    Termination Of Membership: In the event that any member of any municipal board or commission shall fail to attend three (3) consecutive regular meetings thereof or shall fail to attend at least fifty percent (50%) of all such meetings during any six (6) month period without first having obtained permission in advance for such absence or absences from the board or commission or the city council, his membership thereon shall be terminated and a vacancy declared to exist in the same manner as if he had submitted his resignation.

B.    Granting Of Permission: Permission to be absent may be granted for any good cause.

C.    Appointment Of Replacement Member: When three (3) consecutive unexcused absences have occurred, or where attendance of a member shall have fallen below the fifty percent (50%) minimum during a six (6) month period, the chairman or chairman pro tem, of the board or commission shall notify the city council in writing of this fact, and appointment of a new member shall occur in the same manner as provided for the original appointment of the office in question.
