13.16.040: Waiver Of Parcel Maps
13.16.010 COMPLIANCE WITH STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS:
Whenever parcel maps are required pursuant to the provisions of the subdivision map act,1 the form, content, certification, filing, processing, approval, conditional approval or disapproval thereof and any other matters relating thereto shall be in accordance with and governed by the applicable provisions of that act and the provisions of this chapter and this title supplementary thereto, and by all provisions of that act and this title applicable to tentative maps for subdivisions of five (5) or more parcels not inconsistent therewith. 13.16.020 DEDICATIONS:
All dedications or offers of dedication shall be shown on the parcel map; provided, that the city council, in the exercise of its discretion, may require that such dedications or offers of dedication be made by deed, signed by the same parties and in the same manner as set forth in California Government Code section 66439 for dedications by a final map, in lieu of or in addition to appearing on the parcel map. 13.16.030 FIELD SURVEY:
All parcel maps required shall be based upon a field survey made in conformity with the professional land surveyors’ act.2 (1972 Code § 16.13.030; amd. 2003 Code)
13.16.040 WAIVER OF PARCEL MAPS:
The planning commission, in the exercise of its discretion, may recommend to the city council waiver of the requirement of filing a parcel map for a subdivision of four (4) or less parcels, provided it makes all findings required to effect a waiver by California Government Code section 66428. All findings made shall be in writing and a copy thereof shall be given to the subdivider. (1972 Code § 16.13.040)
