GAS TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND*

3.20.010 Specifications.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 196 of the Streets and Highways Code of the state, there is established a fund in the city treasury which shall be separate and distinct from all other funds and accounts and shall be designated “Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund.” All funds allocated by the department of public works to and received by the city for the purposes of said fund shall be deposited therein and no moneys shall be expended by the city from such fund except for items specified in the budget and approved by the department of public works, in accordance with law.
