Chapter 7.12
COUNTY ORDINANCE REGULATING STABLES, TOPSOIL SITES, QUARRIES, OIL AND GAS WELLS AND EARTHEN STORAGE

7.12.010 Adopted.
That certain portion of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code entitled Division VI: Planning; Part Four: Miscellaneous (Sections 7700.0 through 7703.20) of said code, is adopted as an ordinance of the city insofar as the said portion is applicable to the territory within the boundaries of the city; provided, that the following words and phrases of said portion of said code shall have the respective meanings herein set forth:
A. “County of San Mateo” means the city of Half Moon Bay;
B. “Board of supervisors” means the city council;
C. “Unincorporated area of San Mateo County” means the incorporated area of the city of Half Moon Bay;
D. All references to boards, officers, officials and employees of the county of San Mateo shall be construed to refer to boards, officers, officials and employees of the city of Half Moon Bay performing the same or similar functions; and
E. “City” includes the county of San Mateo. (Ord. 22-59 §1, 1959).
