9.11.010 Skateboard park regulations.
A. All persons riding a skateboard or other wheeled recreational devices at any city-owned or operated skateboard park shall wear a helmet, elbow pads on each elbow and knee pads on each knee.
B. Any person riding a skateboard or other wheeled recreational devices at any city-owned or operated skateboard park not wearing a helmet, elbow pads on each elbow and knee pads on each knee shall be guilty of an infraction, and shall be subject to citation.
C. For purposes of this chapter, “other wheeled recreational devices” is defined pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 115800.
D. The city manager may adopt other safety rules, which will be posted at the facility. (Ord. C-2018-01 (part), 2018: Ord. 9-98 §1, 1998).
9.11.020 Signs.
Signs shall be posted at any city-owned or operated skateboard park providing all persons using the park with reasonable notice that all users of the facility must wear a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads and further providing notice that any person failing to do so shall be subject to citation pursuant to Section 9.11.010.
