STANDING AND AD HOC COMMITTEES
Sections:
1.60.010 Findings.
In the 1970s, the Hi-Desert Water District (the “district”) board of directors (the “board”) established committees for members to accomplish some work prior to the board reviewing an item and/or conduct activities in the interest of the district.
The board has established a list of committees identified by topics related to district business in the form of standing committees. [Res. 22-20 Exh. A; Res. 22-09 Exh. A; Res. 18-02].
1.60.020 Standing committees.
The standing committees are listed as follows: engineering; finance; public information; human resources; and legislative. Other meetings of a similar nature are as listed in HDWDC 1.35.080. [Res. 22-20 Exh. A; Res. 22-09 Exh. A; Res. 18-02].

Ad hoc committees are temporary committees formed by the board president. After their formation, the board will be notified through a future board information item. Once the task and/or project is completed, the committee is dissolved. [Res. 23-13; Res. 22-20 Exh. A; Res. 22-09 Exh. A; Res. 19-01; Res. 18-02].
