9.20.010 Hotel registration, retention.

It is unlawful for any person in the City to engage in conducting any lodging house, rooming house, apartment house or hotel to permit any person to lodge therein without first requiring him/her to register his/her true name and address in a register kept for that purpose. This register shall be retained on-site for a period of not less than 30 days and shall be available for police inspection at any time during which the lodging house, rooming house, apartment house or hotel is open for business.
