VIOLATIONS; PENALTY¹:

It shall be unlawful and a misdemeanor or an infraction, as provided by section 40000 of the Vehicle Code of the state, for any person to do any act prohibited by this chapter or to fail to do any act required by this chapter. (Code 1972 §19-9)
