VEHICLES AND ANIMALS PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
a. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, drive, ride, park or leave standing any motor vehicle or other vehicle or to ride any horse or other animal at any time in any public park; however, this shall not apply to those specific areas within any public park of the City which have been regularly and lawfully set aside for the use of vehicles or for the use of horses or other animals. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any vehicle used or owned by the city or any commercial vehicle making lawful deliveries to or otherwise lawfully engaged in any undertaking or enterprise within any public park of the City.
b. It shall be unlawful for any person to lead or let loose any cattle, horse, mule, goat, sheep, swine or fowl or animal of any kind in any public park; provided, however, that it shall not be unlawful to permit or allow a dog in a public park while the dog is participating in an obedience class or dog show sponsored by the City Department of Recreation and provided further that it shall not be unlawful to use a guide dog in a City Park pursuant to Chapter 7 of this Code.
