9.36.010 Injuries generally.

Any person who shall cut, break, deface or injure any grass plat, trees, shrubs, flowers, bench, chair, outhouse, building, fence or fixture upon any street, public walk, park, the city cemetery, or other public place of this city; or who shall lie or sleep upon any bench or seat in any improved park or square; or who shall break or injure any trees or shrubbery in any such park or square; or who shall remove or cause the removal of any street guide or any portion thereof from any post or other place to which it may be attached; or who shall destroy, obliterate or deface, any street guide or any portion thereof upon or attached to any fence, post or other place; or who shall obliterate, deface or remove any public number upon any house, door, building or public place or property, is guilty of a misdemeanor. 9.36.020 Expectorating.

It is unlawful for any person to expectorate or spit upon the floor of any public conveyance or public building, or upon any sidewalk, or crosswalk in the city. (Prior code § 14.16).

9.36.030 Noises in public halls.

Any person who shall make loud and boisterous noises, whistle or otherwise disturb the good order in any public hall, theater or other place of entertainment in this city during a performance, lecture or entertainment of any kind, is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Prior code § 14.31).

9.36.040 Hardball or golf prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, group, firm or corporation to play any type of hardball or golf in any public park or public square within the city except such parks or squares specifically designated or set aside for the playing of the games. (Ord. 735 § 1, 1965).

9.36.060 Vehicles prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, group, firm or corporation to ride, have or permit any vehicle as defined by the vehicle code to be in or on any public park, public square or public school grounds within the city except with the written permission of the governing body of the city or school district. (Ord. 735 § 3, 1965).

9.36.070 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of an infraction, punishable by a fine of two hundred fifty dollars. (Ord. 1247 (part), 1999; Ord. 1160 § 25, 1993).
