DRAINAGE CONNECTIONS TO SEWERS

9.70.010 Connections to sewers from roofs and drains prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person, persons, firm or corporation to cause or permit any water which may accumulate on the roof of any building or on or in any land in the city to flow into any sanitary sewer in said city, by means of any drain pipe or pipes from such building or from such land. (Ord. 678, § 4; 1976 Code § 9-14.01).
9.70.020 Finding.
This section is being added due to the lack of capacity of the waste water treatment facility to handle large volumes of water which is generated during times of inclement weather. (Ord. 678, § 4; 1976 Code § 9-14.02).
