INTERFERING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT

Any person who makes any false statement to a peace officer or animal control officer concerning any matter material to the duties of either, with the intent of misleading the officer in the performance of his or her official duties, with the knowledge the statement is false, is guilty of a misdemeanor. 10.12.020 Interference.
No person shall interfere with, oppose or resist any authorized person charged with the enforcement of this title while such person is engaged in the performance of his or her duties. (Ord. 2023-22 § 441, 2023)
