ASSESSOR--TAX COLLECTOR

3.04.010 Description and purpose.
Pursuant to authority granted by Section 51501 of the Government Code of the State of California, the assessment and tax collection duties performed by the City Assessor and Tax Collector are transferred to the Assessor and Tax Collector of the County of Riverside. (Ord. 91 Sec. 1, 1968)
3.04.020 Abolishment of City offices.
The offices of City Assessor and Tax Collector are abolished. (Ord. 91 Sec. 2, 1968)
3.04.030 Transfer of duties to City Clerk or County officer.
Pursuant to the authority granted by Section 51507 of the Government Code of the State of California, the duties of City Assessor, other than the assessment of City property, and the duties of the Tax Collector, other than the collection of taxes, are transferred to and shall be performed by the City Clerk, or such officer of the County of Riverside as may by contract with the City be designated and authorized to perform such duties.
