REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

2.6.002 Need for Redevelopment Agency Established.

The City Council of the City of Oakley hereby finds and declares that there is a need for a Community Redevelopment Agency to function in the City of Oakley pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California.

2.6.004 Redevelopment Agency Established; Authority.

The Redevelopment Agency is hereby established pursuant to Section 33101 of the Community Redevelopment Law, to be known as the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Oakley. This Redevelopment Agency is hereto authorized to transact business and exercise its powers under provisions of the Community Redevelopment Law.

2.6.006 City Council to Act as Redevelopment Agency.

The Council further finds and declares that the members of the City Council of the City of Oakley shall be the members of the Community Redevelopment Agency, the Council finding that such determination serves the public interest and promotes the public safety and welfare in an effective manner.

2.6.008 Filing Required with Office of Secretary of State.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this section to be filed in the Office of the Secretary of State.
