6.04.010 State code adopted.
Effective January 21, 1953, Article 2 of Chapter 2 of the Government Code of the state of California relating to transfer of city tax functions for chartered cities, namely, Sections 51540 through 51562, inclusive, are adopted and made a part of this code and are referred to for further particulars. 6.04.020 Contract with county.
The city shall negotiate with the board of supervisors of the county of Monterey for a contract for the compensation to be paid to the county of Monterey for the assessment and collection of said taxes. [Ord. 233 N.S., 1953; Ord. 210 N.S. § 4-101, 1952].
