10.18.010 Sterilization of adopted animals – Fees.

(a) No unsterilized dog or cat shall be released by the city or its designee for adoption unless the adopter first follows the “delivery to veterinarian” procedure given in PGMC 10.04.100(d).

(b) Any person who violates or fails to perform an agreement to sterilize an animal as provided in this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and may be enforced pursuant to Chapter 1.16 PGMC.
