12.08.010 Permitting liquid to flow into streets, gutters or alleys prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, owning, maintaining or having the possession or control of any cooling system or appliance, air-conditioning device, or any other machine, instrument or device within the corporate limits of the city to cause, allow or permit water or other liquid to flow or escape therefrom into any street, gutter or alley of the city. (Ord. 86 § 1, 1945).

12.08.020 Penalty for violations.

Any person violating any term or provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by fine not exceeding fifty dollars, or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 86 § 2, 1945).

12.08.030 Interpretation of provisions.

This chapter shall not be construed as repealing any other ordinance of the city regarding obstruction of streets or any of the building or plumbing ordinances of the city, nor as prohibiting any discharge of water by the fire department or other city officials or employees in the course of their duties.
