CITY COUNCIL

2.04.010 Meetings.
The regular meetings of the city council shall be held as set by resolution of the city council. (Ord. 1054 (part), 1998: Ord. 1046 § 3, 1998: Ord. 1035 § 3, 1997)
2.04.020 Compensation.*
Each member of the city council shall receive a salary of one thousand six hundred dollars ($1,600.00) per month. (Ord. 24-02 § 2; Ord. 07-02 § 1: prior code § 2.04.020)
* Pursuant to California Government Code Section 36516.5, Ordinance No. 24-02 shall become operative only on and after the date upon which one or more members of the city council of the city of San Jacinto become eligible for the salary prescribed herein by virtue of beginning a new term of office following the November 2024 general municipal election. Until said operative date, the city council salary set forth in Ordinance No. 07-02 of $375.00 per month shall be and remain in effect. On the operative date, the salary set forth in Ordinance No. 07-02 is hereby replaced by the salary set forth in Ordinance No. 24-02.
