CLAIMS FOR MONEY AND DAMAGES AGAINST THE CITY OF SAUSALITO

1.07.010 Claim presentation procedure.

All claims for money or damages against the City of Sausalito shall be presented to the City Clerk or the City Clerk’s appointed deputy and in compliance with the provisions of this chapter. [Ord. 1092 § 1, 1993.]

1.07.020 Further claims presentation procedures.

Pursuant to Section 935 of the California Government Code, all claims against the City of Sausalito for damages or money, which claims are not otherwise governed by any State or local law providing a specific procedure for the presentation of such claims, shall be presented within the time limitations and in the manner prescribed by Sections 910 through 915.2 of the California Government Code, notwithstanding the exemptions set forth in Section 905 of the California Government Code. Such claims shall further be subject to the provisions of Section 945.4 of the California Government Code relating to the prohibition of suits in the absence of the presentation of a claim and action thereon by the City.
