REGULATIONS FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR OF INDIVIDUAL SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM

18.14.020 Amendments to Marin County Code.
18.14.010 Adopted.
All of the provisions of Marin County Code Chapter 18.06 for Regulations for Design, Construction and Repair of Individual Sewage Disposal System, with the modifications set forth in this chapter, are adopted by the City and the provisions thereof are incorporated in this chapter by reference the same as if fully set forth herein. 18.14.020 Amendments to Marin County Code.
The provisions of Marin County Code Chapter 18.06 are hereby amended as follows:
A. Section 103: Four copies of a detailed plot plan shall be submitted.
B. Section 103D: Storage tanks and natural springs are added.
C. Section 401: The “Setback to Septic Tank” from both a “Building” and an “Adjoining Property Line (1)” is revised from five feet to 15 feet.
D. Section 604-B-3-c: The electrical conduit shall be schedule 40 pipe. [Ord. 1176B § 1(Exh. A), 2005.]
18.14.030 Penalties.
The City intends to secure compliance with the provisions of this chapter by any of the following alternate, separate and distinct methods. Each method set forth herein is not intended to be mutually exclusive and does not prevent concurrent or consecutive methods being used to achieve compliance against continuing violations nor does it prevent utilization of any other enforcement mechanisms and/or penalties available by law. Each day a violation exists constitutes a separate offense.
A. Any person who violates or willfully fails to comply with any provision of this chapter is guilty of an infraction. Except where other penalties are specified, each offense may be punished by a fine of not less than $150.00 nor more than $500.00.
B. Administrative code enforcement in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1.10 SMC. [Ord. 1176B § 1(Exh. A), 2005.]
