PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF UNIFORM CODES

15.36.010 Penalty designated.
Any person who violates, or permits or causes any violation of, any provision of this title or any uniform codes adopted by reference shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction shall be punished according to Chapter 1.16 SBMC. Each day, or portion of a day, during which a violation exists shall constitute a separate violation and may be punished separately. Any violation of the provisions of this title or any uniform code adopted by reference shall also constitute a public nuisance which may be abated according to the provisions of law. Nothing herein shall preclude the city from enforcing the provisions of this title or any of the uniform codes adopted by reference by means of a civil action or abatement.
