ADVERTISING DISTRIBUTION

5-1-01 Unlawful advertising.
It shall be unlawful for any person to disfigure or paint, affix, attach, or place to or on any post or pole erected or standing in any of the streets of the City, or resting on any of the sidewalks thereof, or to or on any street curbing, or to or on any trees planted or growing in the public streets of the City, or the boxes or cases enclosing such trees, any advertisement, paper, poster, words, characters, letters, or symbols, or to permit any advertisement, paper, poster, words, figures, characters, letters, or symbols placed thereon or attached to the same by him or under his authority or direction to remain attached or placed thereon.
