PUBLIC PROPERTY

5-9-02 Intoxicants prohibited.
5-9-01 Prohibited acts.
Except as otherwise set forth in this Code, the standards, regulations, rules, and conditions set forth in this section shall apply to the use of property owned or controlled by the City.
It shall be unlawful for any person to do any of the following acts within or on property owned or controlled by the City:
(a) To ride or bring any horse or other similar animal onto public property, except on those areas specifically provided and designated for such purposes, unless prior written permission is obtained from the City Manager; and
(b) To park or propel a motorcycle, motor bike, or other vehicle in or upon any area of public property, except on those areas specifically provided and designated for such purposes, unless prior written permission is obtained from the City Manager.
5-9-02 Intoxicants prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any beer, wine, or alcoholic beverage, or any beverage containing beer, wine, or any alcoholic beverage, on or in:
(a) Any sidewalk, parkway, street, or alley;
(b) Any public park, except as provided in Title 10 of this Code;
(c) Any public parking lot or other public property; and
(d) Any private parking lot open or designed for use by the public or patrons of the owner or tenant.
Nothing in this section shall prohibit the consumption of any such beverage in or on any premises for which the City has issued a valid and current permit to serve and consume such beverage.
5-9-03 Defacing unlawful.
It shall be unlawful for any person to mar, deface, or in any manner disfigure the sidewalks, curbs, gutters, streets, or public facilities of the City by marking or writing thereon or by any other means whatsoever.
