§1860: Granting Franchise To California Northwestern Railway Company
§1860 GRANTING FRANCHISE TO CALIFORNIA NORTHWESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY
The California Northwestern Railway Company, a corporation, is hereby authorized and permitted to lay down and maintain and use its railroad tracks and side tracks for cars operated by steam or other motive power in and through the city, commencing at the northerly terminus of the San Francisco and North Pacific Railroad in the city and running hence along the line of the California Northwestern Railway Company, including the right to lay down and use tracks on Mason Street and the extension thereof northward designated as lots A and B of Wagenseller’s second addition to the town of Ukiah City, and also to cross Clara Avenue and Ford Street and to cross any street or streets in said city that said railroad may intersect or pass along or over, and to continue and operate said tracks through the said city to the north boundary thereof.
