§6020: Distribution Of Handbills Without Consent Of Owner Or On Public Place
§6020 DISTRIBUTION OF HANDBILLS WITHOUT CONSENT OF OWNER OR ON PUBLIC PLACE
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation or any agent or employee of any person, firm or corporation to distribute, or cause to be distributed to, or place or cause to be placed among, pedestrians, or in or upon or along any public street, sidewalk, square, park, or standing upon or along any public street or place in the City, or to distribute, place, scatter or throw, or cause to be distributed, placed scattered or thrown, along, upon, or in, any street, sidewalk, alley, or public place, or in or upon private property without the written consent of the owner thereof or of his agent or of the occupant thereof, any handbill, pamphlet, circular, dodger, newspaper, to other than a regular subscriber thereof, or any other advertising sheet, matter or device. §6021 PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00), or by imprisonment for not more than twenty five (25) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
