§6400 DECLARATION OF INTENT TO QUALIFY FOR STATE AID
The City hereby declares its desire to receive aid pursuant to Chapter 1, Title 4 of the California Penal Code, including, but not limited to, reimbursement for the training of peace officers and public safety dispatchers having primary responsibility for providing dispatching services for local law enforcement agencies. §6401 AGREEMENT TO ADHERE TO STANDARDS FOR RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING
A. Pursuant to Penal Code Sections 13522 and 15525, or any statutes which amend or replace said sections, the City, while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to Chapter 1, Title 4 of said Code, will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training of peace officers and public safety dispatchers having primary responsibility for providing dispatching services for local law enforcement agencies as defined in Penal Code § 13510 (c) established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training ("P.O.S.T.")
B. Pursuant to Penal Code Section 13512, or any statue amending or replacing said Section, the Commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that the City of Ukiah Police Department peace officer and public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
