PARKING METER PERMITS

§7390 DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AUTHORIZED TO APPROVE APPLICATIONS FOR PARKING METER PERMITS
The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to approve applications for permits for the temporary occupancy of parking spaces in lieu of the payment of parking meter fees and without regard to parking time limitations. (Ord. 468, §1, adopted 1953; Ord. 711, §1, adopted 1978)
§7391 PERMIT ISSUANCE; RATES
Upon the approval of the application by the Director of Finance, an annual parking meter permit sticker to be placed in the lower right corner of the vehicle windshield shall be issued.
Fees shall be charged for the permits according to the following fee schedule:

§7392 VEHICLES ELIGIBLE FOR PERMITS
Only repair service, maintenance and construction vehicles are eligible to make application for parking permits. Those vehicles and equipment necessary and incidental to building, construction and maintenance work and servicing of equipment and appliances, which for reasons of convenience and necessity are exempted from the use of the parking meter. §7393 PERMIT TIME LIMIT
The permits shall be issued on an annual basis and shall expire on the date indicated on the permit. (Ord. 468, §4, adopted 1953; amd. by Ord. 711, §1, adopted 1978)
