PLANNING COMMISSION

2.28.010 Established.
A city planning commission in and for the city, is established and created. (Prior code §2.18).
2.28.020 Composition – Appointment.
The city planning commission shall consist of seven members, who are not employees or members of the city council of the city. The members of the city planning commission shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council. Members shall be, at the time of appointment and throughout their term of appointment, residents of the city. A member of the commission may be removed at any time by a majority vote of the city council. Vacancies occurring for any reason prior to the expiration of a member’s term shall be filled for the unexpired portion of that member’s term in the manner prescribed above. 2.28.030 Powers and duties.
The city planning commission shall have the powers and duties provided for by state law. (Prior code §2.20).
