CHRISTMAS TREE SALES

5.04.010 License—Required.
It is unlawful for any person to engage in the business of selling Christmas trees unless such seller first obtains a license therefor in accordance with the terms of this chapter. (Prior code § 6-14)
5.04.020 License—Application.
All applications for licenses to sell Christmas trees within the city shall be presented to the City Manager on or before November 1st of the applicable year. (Prior code § 6-15)
5.04.030 Separate licenses required for each location.
If a licensee under this chapter engages in such business at more than one location, a separate license shall be issued for each location and a separate fee shall be charged therefor. (Prior code § 617)
5.04.040 License—Issuance—Fee.
The license permitting a person to engage in the business of selling Christmas trees shall be issued by the City Treasurer, who shall at the time of issuing the license collect a license fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and shall make a record of the name of the licensee and the place where such Christmas trees shall be sold. 5.04.050 Exceptions from county zoning regulations.
Regardless of the provisions of Ordinance No. 9, Series of 1962, entitled “An Ordinance Adopting Arapahoe County Zoning Resolution as Amended, and the Zoning Maps Accompanying the Same Providing for the Administration Thereof and Providing Penalties for the Violation Thereof,” persons who have obtained a license in accordance with the terms of this chapter may, during the months of November and December of each year, engage in the business of selling Christmas trees. 5.04.060 Cleaning of premises required.
All persons engaging in the business of selling Christmas trees shall clean the premises upon which such sales have been made and shall remove therefrom all trees and parts thereof and all rubbish and waste on or before December 31st of each year, and failure so to do shall be sufficient grounds for denying a license to such person or to any other person for use upon the premises during any succeeding year. 5.04.070 Enforcement.
The Building Inspector of Arapahoe County shall be charged with the enforcement of this chapter, and he shall receive a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for each and every license which shall be issued under the terms hereof.’ (Prior code § 6-3)
