GARAGE SALES

5.25.010 Garage sales.
A. An on-premises sale of new or used household or related goods from a residence or lot upon which a residence may be constructed. The terms “garage sales” and “rummage sales” are synonymous with “yard sales.”
B. No single yard sale shall exceed three consecutive days in any seven consecutive days from its commencement to its end.
C. No more than two yard sales may be conducted from any single residence, residential lot, or lot upon which a residence may be constructed in the same calendar year.
D. At the conclusion of each sale, all evidence of the sale must be removed from the view of public streets.
E. Any violation shall result in an infraction and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $100.00 for each such violation. [Ord. 229, 2016.]
