5-36-010 License required—Application.

A.    It is unlawful for any person to conduct the business of drayman, carter, expressman or mover without first having obtained a license therefor.

B.    Applications for such licenses shall be made to the clerk, and shall designate thereon the name and address of the licensee, the location of his business, and the number of vehicles intended to be used by him. (Prior code § 5-31-1)

5-36-020 Fee.

5-36-030 Regulations.

It is unlawful for any drayman, expressman, carter or mover to receive, move or conceal any property which he knows to be or has reason to suspect to be stolen. Every vehicle used for such business shall have printed thereon in a place easily visible from the side of the vehicle the name and address of the owner in letters legible to one of normal eyesight at a distance of twenty-five (25) feet.
