ICE DEALERS

5-62-010 License required.
It is unlawful to engage in the business of the retail sale of ice without having first obtained a license therefor. (Prior code § 5-18-1)
5-62-020 Applications.
A. Application for such license shall contain the number of vehicles to be used for the delivery of ice together with the other information required in such application.
B. Whenever the number of vehicles so used is increased, notice of this fact shall be given to the clerk and the fee provided herein shall be paid. (Prior code § 5-18-2)
5-62-030 Standards.
A. All ice sold or offered for sale shall be free from harmful materials, if such ice is sold or offered for sale for domestic use.
B. Each vehicle used for the delivery of ice shall be equipped with an accurate scale for the weighing of ice as delivered. (Prior code § 5-18-3)
5-62-040 Fee.
The annual fee for an ice dealer’s license shall be based on Section 5-02-160 of this code. (Ord. 3316 § 2 (part), 2015: Ord. 3221 § 19, 2009; Ord. 1921 (part), 1972; prior code § 5-18-4)
